Why did my transaction get declined?

Transactions can be declined for several reasons:

  • Your card isn’t activated yet.
  • Your card has expired.
  • You locked your card.
  • An incorrect PIN was entered.
  • There are insufficient funds in your account.
  • The transaction looks different than your normal spending patterns.
  • The transaction violates the terms of your Deposit Account Agreement (e.g. used on unlawful domestic / international gambling websites, to purchase illegal goods / services, or for cash / teller withdrawals at ATMs outside of the U.S. & its territories, Canada, & Mexico.)
