Why can’t I cash a check through the Walmart MoneyCard app in the state of New York?

Mobile check cashing through the Walmart MoneyCard app is not available for use within the state of New York. If you are physically located within the border of the state of New York when you try to access the service, you will receive an error message & will be unable to use the service.

You can deposit your check to your Walmart MoneyCard account in person at Walmart & other retail locations. Present your check & your activated Walmart MoneyCard debit card at the register at these locations to deposit your check. Fees & limits apply, check with the retailer for details.
