Do I need to activate the temporary Walmart MoneyCard Visa Debit card I got at a store?

Yes, you need to activate the temporary card you got at Walmart. The card you get from Walmart is not personalized with your name & has limited features. When you activate your temporary card, you can then use your card to shop, check your balance, purchase transactions, & add cash at Walmart & thous&s of retailers nationwide. Once your temporary card is successfully activated, we will send you a new personalized chip-enabled card. Just follow the instructions on your new card to get started, & to unlock all features on your account.
